puff of sweetness

my mom’s good friend gave me this addicting recipe for caramel corn. it uses puffed corn instead of popcorn which makes it so much yummier! i hate to admit this but i will just to let you know how yummy (and addicting) this caramel corn is…i ate all of this pure goodness in a day. yes, i said a day. and i would do it again!

homemade puffed caramel corn

1 bag puffed corn
1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup corn syrup

preheat oven to 300.
place puffed corn in a large bowl and set aside.

in a sauce pan bring butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup to a boil, stirring constantly. boil for 2 minutes.
remove from heat and pour immediately over puffed corn. mix until evenly coated.

pour puffed corn onto a parchment lined backing sheet.
bake for 7 minutes. stir and bake another 7 minutes.
let cool and enjoy with a good movie!
