bourbon balls

i made these meatballs over the weekend for a college football party and they were a big huge hit! everyone loved them and couldn’t stop talking about how delicious they were. and they were the perfect finger food for watching football.

bourbon meatballs

  • 2 pound bag frozen meatballs
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup bourbon whiskey
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

in a medium bowl, combine all ingredients except for meatballs. mix well.
place frozen meatballs in crock pot. pour the whiskey sauce over meatball. mix well so each meatball is coated with the whiskey sauce.
turn crock pot on high and let cook for about an hour, stirring occasionally.
once the meatballs have thawed, turn crock pot down to low.
serve with toothpicks for easy eating and enjoy!

*thank you to my wonderful aunt rita for this adorable serving dish!
