book of the month

ninety-nine percent of the time i read fiction books but i decided to go off course after watching afternoon tv one day. i was watching the jeff probst show where the author, susannah cahalan, of brain on fire: my month of madness was being interviewed. her story was so interesting i immediately thought that’s my next book of the month. so here it is, may’s book of the month! new york times best-selling author mira bartok describes this book as “a mesmerizing story of a promising young writer’s descent into madness, due to a mysterious and debilitating disease.” i am really interested to find out what she went through during this time of madness and how she has recovered from it. and i hope you too will join me in finding out. click here to order your copy on amazon.

did everyone enjoy april’s book of the month the big bang by linda joffe hull? did it have enough scandal for you?

happy reading!
