chalking it up…again!

i was browsing the aisles of TJMaxx when i came across these cute glass canisters for $3. i thought they would be perfect for flour and sugar so i snatched up three of them…one large and  two small. i brought them home, set them on my counter and thought “cute, but missing something”. labels on the front! so i grabbed the chalkboard paint from my wine glass and  cheese tray projects  and got to work.

  • glass canisters
  • chalkboard paint
  • foam paint brush (i do recommend using a foam paint brush over a bristle paint brush because it leaves less brush strokes.)
  • chalk

simple…start painting!

apply three to four coats until brush strokes are no longer visible. let dry over night.

Now fill sugar, spices and everything nice!
