in need of a warm and filling dip for your next party? well, i have the perfect one for you. i made this for a get together a few weekends ago and everyone loved it!
hot sausage dip
- 1 pound ground spicy pork sausage
- 10oz can diced tomato and green chilies
- 8oz package cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
cook sausage in a large skillet. once sausage is fully cooked, drain.
drain diced tomato and green chilies, reserving 1/4 cup of the liquid.
mix together sausage, diced tomato and green chilies, reserved liquid, and cream cheese.
spoon into a lightly greased 1-quart baking dish. sprinkle the top with cheddar cheese.
bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until bubbly.
serve with crackers and a glass of red wine. enjoy!
