Since it has started to get cold outside I decided to make chili to warm me up a bit. This recipe is one that I kind of made up on my own…I just threw some stuff in a crockpot and turned it on! Be your own chef by adding or omitting ingredients. How do you like your chili?
- 1lb. ground turkey
- 1cup elbow macaroni
- 2 cans chili beans
- 1 pack chili seasoning
- 1 small red onion, minced
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 cups water
Brown ground turkey in medium pan .
Boil elbow macaroni in small pot until el denta.
Add ground turkey, macaroni, and chili beans to crockpot.
Then add chili seasoning packet, ketchup, and minced onion.
Finally add water and stir.
Cook on low for 2-3 hours.
Note: You can substitute the ketchup and water with a can of diced tomatoes…which I didn’t have at the time.
Serve with shredded cheese, sour cream, and Fritos. Enjoy!
