Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
-Melody Beattie

A few weeks ago on my birthday I decided to start writing down the things I’m grateful for in my life…big things to small things and everything in between. For the next 350 days, at the end of everyday I’m going to write down what I am grateful for in my life and share it with you. 365 days of gratefulness!  Here are the first fifteen things I am grateful for:

  • my mother and father who gave me life
  • my amazing friends
  • bouquets of flowers
  • my job
  • the amazing weather we have had here
  • the movie theater
  • the internet
  • Moscato wine
  • my wonderful family
  • living in an urban area
  • being able to walk
  • OTC cold medication
  • my comfy bed
  • being able to get food to-go
  • being healthy
