I love grilled cheese sandwiches so when I came across the Grilled Cheese Social blog I knew I had found heaven! This blog is dedicated to ooey gooey grilled cheese sandwhiches. This one is called the Cure All.

The Cure All

Ingredients

2 slices multigrain bread
1 egg, scrambled
2 pats salted butter
1/3 cup crumbled goat cheese
1 tbsp pesto

 Directions

Butter one slice of bread. Sprinkle half of the crumbled goat cheese onto the  non-buttered side of bread.

Next add the scrambled egg.

Then add the pesto.

Then sprinkle on the remaining goat cheese.

Buter the other slice of bread and place on top, butter side up.

Turn your stove top to medium high and place sandwich, butter-side down, into pan.  Let it cook for about 3-4 minutes or until it starts to get brown and toasty. Flip and repeat. (The goat cheese melts super quickly so it’s not really about waiting for the cheese to melt, it’s more about waiting to get a nice crust on your bread.)

After it’s toasted on both sides, take it out of the pan, and let it cool for a few seconds. And then chow down!
