Boom! Bang! Boom! Unfortunately, this is not what we heard this Fourth of July. There was a firework ban for our county due to the lack of rain so there was no grand display of lights this year. But even without fireworks we had fun relaxing pool side! A good friend of mine had a Fourth of July Cookout/Pool Party. We ate, drank, swam,
played watched wiffle ball, sun bathed, ate some more, and drank some more. I always like to bring something edible to a cookout so this cookout I brought Hot & Spicy Crab Dip. It was so easy to make that it literally took me five minutes…which is my kind of recipe! It’s from Snackpicks.
Hot & Spicey Crab Dip
8oz. cream cheese
1/4 cup hot salsa (I used medium so it wasn’t that spicy)
1 can crab meat, drained
In a microwave-safe bowl combine the cream cheese and salsa. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes, stirring once.
Stir in crab meat. Microwave for 30 secs to 1 minute to heat through.
Serve with your favorite cracker and enjoy!
